Looks like you all are having fun in beautiful Italy....I'm stuck in the middle of the desert with some weird piece of cardboard. Big plans for 2010....might start by shaving my legs...!!! YEAH!! Just wanted to say you guys are the best! Lots of love from the land of Enchantment!!

Sorry - team England is a no-show for Rockville. 10cm of snow and the airport grinds to a halt. For many hours it looked like my flight would remain whilst many others were cancelled - but not to be. Runways had been cleared for 3 hours and planes starting to take off, but de-icing of planes was v e r y s l o w so they start cancelling more flights. Left home at 4.30 am and then 13 hours to get nowhere!
Weather is very unusual here - longest snow / ice period I have ever known. Haven't seen this type of snow for 30 years. Usually it comes from east / Scandinavia and dumps on ridge of hills down the centre of England. For last +3 weeks it comes repeatedly from north :-(
I'll stick to Scalextric racing at home!
