THE WHISKEY OFF ROAD:50 mile mountain bike race.

Just got back from the best race ever!! Went all the way to Arizona to do a 50 mile mountain bike race( 80km). The race started out great, it rolled strait from the downtown of the city out to the mountains. Unfortunately I was pretty much in the way back of 300 riders because I had to pee behind the courthouse bushes about 1 minute before the race took off. Thankfully I was able to get further up front and enjoy the amazing single track and amazing views! The single speed category was stacked with top riders from all over the U.S and the course was pushing the limits off everyone, from screaming fast rocky downhills to a 14 mile(22km) hill climb! I finished the race with a huge smile on my face after 4 hours and 4 minutes putting me in 7th place for the single speed category. Next year I'll make sure to go to the bathroom before the race and hopefully get a better start!!
