The Sac did Zuni Mountain

"I did another one of those Endurance races last weekend, and it was pretty cool, mainly just cold actually. It was supposed to be a 100 mile ride; do a 50 mile loop and then turn around and do it again but backwards. In theory it would be sweet but after riding an awesome 50 miles on almost all singletrack through remote forests I decided it would be for the best if I turned in when I did, not having good lights or anything I didn't want to get eaten alive by bears. We left at 7:00 in the morning, and I didn't finish the first 50 till 12:20, I was actually the third place finisher I think, and definitely the first singlespeeder. Plus no one did the whole 100 so I felt pretty good about my finish. This is a picture of me freezing my balls off the night before and then me at the starting line with some friends. "
